There usually is not one single reason why the government does something. David Stockman for example told us one of the reasons for Obamacare was to force employers to cut hours worked to under 30. That lowered our unemployment rate. Stockman noticed that total hours worked by non-government workers hardly grew at all since 2000. Another point about Obamacare is that Obama donors were exempted from the regulations so small businesses were bankrupted. And many others were never started because employers could not figure out how to pay for mandatory healthcare.

Keep in mind that subsidizing healthcare and Food Stamps with federal deficits creates lots of jobs in healthcare, food stores, drug stores, pharmaceutical companies, insurance and government agencies. Deficit financing will pay for it all until interest rates rise. But don’t worry. The Federal Reserve won’t let interest rates go up until after the 2016 elections.

News story: A record 94,708,000 Americans were not in the labor force in May — 664,000 more than in April — and the labor force participation rate dropped two-tenths of a point to 62.6 percent, near its 38-year low.

If I were a congressman without a conscience, there is one piece of legislation I could vote for that would lower our unemployment rate below the current 4.9% figment of someone’s imagination. I would vote for the draft. The Senate version of the current defense bill allows for a draft. And it would require women for the first time in history to register for the draft. Hillary Clinton favors drafting women.

There are approximately 9 million Americans aged 18 and 19. There are 30 million federal, state and local government workers if you count contractors. Forget that John Williams guy at Shadow Stats who says the real unemployment rate is 24%. Look at the total number of unemployed which is 7.4 million. So if I force 9 million young people out of the labor force into the ranks of involuntary servitude, I can give their jobs to one of the currently unemployed.

There is one slight problem. There are 9 million eligible for the draft but only 7.4 million unemployed. That means that theoretically I could wind up with an employment rate above 100%. Not good. Some people would not believe a lie that big. And some know enough math to figure out that you can never go above 100% of anything. We could give those 9 million young people physicals and exempt some.

In the final analysis, we would just tell the statisticians over at the BLS to massage the numbers and give us an unemployment rate of 2.9%. Then we get President Hillary on the center stage to tell everyone that the Clinton recovery has arrived.

Speaking of the Clintons, we know that they will find a fund raising opportunity in this. I can see a few. We could allow most of the women and some of the men to avoid military duty by accepting alternative work for 2 years in community service. If you owned a hospital chain, you could pay the Clinton Foundation for 10,000 drafted workers to labor away for you at below subsistence wages for 24 months. The going rate might be $1,000 per slave or volunteer if you prefer. So 10,000 cheap workers could be assigned to you for two years for a mere $10 million.

Speaking of Bill Clinton, Hillary could give him a first option on the best looking of the 4.5 million young women. They could start a whisper campaign that good looking girls who don’t want to change bed pans or go on 20 mile hikes with the soldiers would be allowed to join Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein on Orgy Island. Hillary could get Bill out of the White House. And she could make Huma Abedin First Lady.

Another reason for a draft would be to fight a war. But I think America would lose the war before the first draftee finished basic training. US law since WW II forbids sending recruits into combat until after they have had 6 months of training. American and Russian military in 2011 leaders established a channel for direct talks to avoid war because NATO has begun to act insanely of late. And US leaders might have figured out by now that Wall Street wants America to lose WW III.

I think the next war will be fought on the home front. I believe we are headed to the worst Financial Crisis in 5 centuries because the West has more Unpayable Debts to cancel than anytime in the last 500 years. I have been saying for several years that Wall Street does not want Americans to rise up in anger and arrest the Bankers. The elite might dream of drafting the young men and some of the women into a paramilitary group that would dedicate themselves to protecting Bankers. 3 million Americans starved to death in the Great Depression and at least 10 men will starve to death this time around. I just don’t see today’s youths throwing themselves in front of an assailant intent on gunning down the CEO of a major bank that had robbed Americans of a few trillion dollars.

At this point, the only exit paths I see involve Revolution or a military coup. I would prefer Donald Trump to Hillary. But I would prefer Godzilla to Hillary. I have said America is a volcano ready to explode. If Trump were to survive until January 2017, I would be surprised. I do not believe Hillary will be on the ballot in November.

If we do not have Debt Cancellation and Bank reform, we will be entering the worst Depression the world has seen in 500 years. The people in Washington will call for martial law but that won’t work after the first 10 million Americans begin starving to death. At that point, I would hope someone forwards one of my articles explaining how a Military Coup is just about the only feasible exit strategy. America is too big and diverse a nation to coordinate a peaceful revolution.
