Yes....but the sun has MOVED DRASTICALLY North. By the spring equinox I knew for sure. The sun sets due west, right?.... And I know the exact point upon my horizon that would normally Be... Plus we have a stationary weather vane upon our roof. Iwe created our gardens and pots just so, in order to have the maximum growing light in our cedar tree paradise. Nothing is 'just so' any longer. Had to put out the sun awning in April...2 months early.... All flowering plants are two months early also. However, in defense of Lymerick, the angle of the sun's trajectory has changed continuously ...that one would prove more difficult to explain, other than to say the Eastern rise has been changing its position too, sometimes more south and much more north, abnormally so. (Don't take issue w that last statement, like I said, hard to explain.)
I am a sky watcher......and gardener...and Earthling ;-) .
