Well... I can't seem to get the screenshot feature on my phone to work in any meaningful manner.

The discussion section of everpedia references the mention of his religion as Islam and notes the change from Islam.

They claimed people who knew him set his religion as Islam - and it was set as Islam long before the shooting.

Afterward, it would appear there was a concentrated effort to get his religion edited.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The man who carried out a murder-suicide at UCLA left a “kill list” at his Minnesota home that led authorities to find a woman’s body, Police Chief Charlie Beck said Thursday.

Mainak Sarkar, 38, drove to Los Angeles from Minnesota with two guns and killed Professor Bill Klug before taking his own life Wednesday, Beck said during his monthly appearance on Los Angeles TV station KTLA.

UCLA Shooting (June 1, 2016)

Sarkar was confirmed by law enforcement on June 2nd, 2016 to be the killer of William Klug during the UCLA Shooting. Sarkar used a 9 millimeter pistol to shoot the professor and then himself. Sarkar wrote a blog article describing his hatred of Klug. The blog article was deleted but Google cached it and it was thus retrievable.

Sarkar also killed his ex-girlfriend Ashley Hasti in Minnesota leading up to the UCLA Shooting. They had broken up and had stopped being friends on Facebook, indicating strife. It is then believed Sarkar immediately moved himself across the country from Minnesota to UCLA to conduct the murder of William Klug before authorities could discover Sarkar's crimes.

Sarkar worked as an engineering analyst at Endurica LLC until August 2014. From 2005-2007 he worked as a software developer at Lucid Technologies. From 2002-2003 he worked as a research assistant a the University of Texas at Arlington. From 2000-2001 He worked for Infosys Ltd. in Bangalore, India.
