I have yet to meet a single Teump supporter. I am thoroughly confused as to where his support is coming from. There is a claim that it is the disenfranchised, uneducated white guys that support him. I do not associate with many that fall into that catagory, but have made an effort to talk to a number of them and still find no one that likes the guy.

From what I can tell, most Trump supporters are being discreet about their support. They might be gung-ho on the anonymous internet, but they are keeping a lid on their opinions in front of friends and family. If this is confusing for you, keep in mind that the media has done a great job of making Trump sound like Hitler. I don't see people putting their real names on their declarations of support of Trump. When they do, they tend to get called names, are uninvited to family gatherings, lose friends, and have their cars vandalized. Would you want to go through that? People on my social media are quick to voice how much they hate Trump and how he is like Hitler, and how anyone who disagrees with them is mentally ill. Do you think their friends and family who are quiet Trump supporters are going to bother to disagree publicly? If you think you haven't met any Trump supporters, I'm guess you are wrong. No one is going to admit to voting for Trump in mixed company unless they are okay with taking the abuse that comes with it, and don't mind starting an argument.

Regarding why anyone would vote for Trump, the average person may resent rich successful people like Trump, but they resent politicians more. People at least have a little admiration for someone who can achieve what they have not. There is respect for him, if not admiration. He has been on tv, and has had positions of power. Everyone has heard of him. No one can dispute that he would be a strong figurehead.

Obama has been criticized for bowing to foreign leaders and making America look weak. He has been accused of not having America's best interests at heart. In those regards, Trump is the polar opposite of Obama.

Trump certainly understands money. America needs someone in power who understands all this money mess we are in. Some people say "Oh, he has gone bankrupt and failed at things." Even so, he's a lot more successful than most people. He didn't have all of that handed to him. He had a good start, but if he weren't smart, he wouldn't have done as well as he has. Successful people know that failure is just part of the journey to success.

A growing number of Americans distrust the media. When the media attacks Trump unfairly, as they sometimes do by publishing misleading headlines and taking his quotes out of context, some people take note and say he must be an outsider if the media hates him so much.

He has a big mouth, but at least we can be sure where he stands on things.

He is being called a misogynist. He does seem to have some old fashioned ideas about women. But to me, there is a big difference between a man who is old fashioned, but respects individual women, promoting them and working with them in their business dealings, etc. versus a man who hates women and thinks they are beneath men.

Trump is being called a racist, but I haven't heard him say anything actually racist, only against illegal immigration. After all, illegal immigration breaks the law. Why have laws at all if we are just going to ignore him? If he is so racist, how does he have so many minority supporters?

Truthfully, people who have worked for him, worked beside him, and have actually met him, seem to have only good things to say about the man. Think about that while we remember what people have to say about the Clintons, for example.

Trump's obvious faults pale next to the pedophiles, rapists,eugenicist, genocidal maniacs we usually have to pick from in politics.

With the world going so crazy around us, is it so unbelievable that American voters would want to make a course correction in the direction we have been headed? You may think it is an over correction, but we won't know for sure unless he gets elected and has a chance to take the wheel.
