To All,

I have a question for all of you fellow seekers. I know what the inner marriage is but have yet to find any formulas on how to attain it? Is there such a thing? Am I looking in the wrong places? Is this Egyptian, Gnostic or even more ancient? Are there certain prayers or rites to preform or do you just say, I thee Para take my inner female in union?

I've read everything I can find (online) and all of it is contradictory. Some say the inner man or woman is just your other emotional self and others say the inner man or woman is the divine spark that lives forever. That the only way for YOU to live forever is to join with it and transcend with it when the body passes.

Remember the line from the first Star Trek movie, " V-ger (the voyager; as we all are) must join with the creator." Male and female they joined and 'created' a new entity.

Awakening the Inner Lover

We are rewarded at the end of our journey, at the end of our dark night, by Love. Our inner process, if it is fully engaged with, leads to an encounter with our inner lover, our hearts, so that our marriage is to the other, within the inner marriage. In the space left vacant by our lost love, we find ourselves. We discover the one we have neglected for another.

As Derek Walcott writes:

The time will come when, with elation,

You will greet yourself arriving at your own door,

In your own mirror,

And each will smile at the other’s welcome,

And say, sit here, eat.

You will love again the stranger who was your inner self
