This year Mare Cromwell is leading the Thursday workshop, 'Messages from the Sasquatch.' A recent article in the Huffington Post described a Sasquatch mask being returned to the Native tribe that carved it ( http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/05/14/sasquatch-mask-bc-first-nation_n_5326259.html ). Of the Sasquatch, they say "It's our belief that his primary role is to ensure that the land is being taken care of." It's no wonder then that they have been seen more and more frequently at the Fairy Congress! We are excited to deepen our communications with these fascinating beings. Then on Monday, get ready to explore as we 'Get Our Passports to the Multi-Verse' with Robert Moss! This is sure to be a thrilling ride to dimensions near and far as we push the boundaries of our understanding of reality. Robert says "In dreams, we are time travelers. Weather Update photo of Skalitude from May 21, 2016, by Jenny Macke The Fairy Congress is a month from now, and we are happy to say that we are experiencing a much more normal spring weather pattern this year than we did last year! The meadow is VERY green after a healthy snow year, and the hillsides have gone from bathed in yellow balsamroot to a gorgeous purple blanket of lupines. There are still numerous colorful larkspur around too. The Fairies and Devas of Skalitude hope to celebrate and express their joy with many of you here next month! Community Highlights This month for our community highlight we are honoring Suki!! Suki has been the Raffle Goddess since its inception. The raffle has come to be an important part of keeping the Congress functioning in a healthy way. Originally started to raise seed money for next year's Congress, it has grown to be a fun way to spread the joy and create community. Even if you cannot attend the Congress, you are welcome to send raffle donations as a way to participate from afar. We particularly welcome donations that have Fairy significance, be it books, music, spiritual tools, gardening toys, healing sessions, etc. Contact Suki at magikdancer@gmail.com for more information! Food Donations The Congress provides three healthy, organic meals each day. We buy all the staples to make the meals, but we rely on donations to bring those little touches to make them extra-special. Donations we especially appreciate are: bread, nuts, nut butters, snack items, fresh fruit (there are fruit stands on the way here!), or fresh veggies from the garden.
