WAS THE ORIGINAL PLANE SWAPPED FOR ANOTHER AT THE LAST MINUTE?

In Response To: Breaking: EgyptAir flight MS804 from Paris to Cairo has disappeared from radar (MrFusion)
My car is at the dealership, so I left a TV on so that my house would look occupied.
I was listening to all of this on CNN in real time when it went down in the middle of the night.
Originally, they identified the plane as a Boeing 737, a newer plane about 6 years old, and said it was the model normally scheduled for the flight.
Shortly after that (within a half hour) they started identifying the plane as an Airbus A360, and one of their experts (I was listening, not watching, so I don't know who it was) commented that it would be unusual to "swap out" the regularly scheduled plane "at the last minute."
I haven't heard anything about the "swap" since.
MAYBE THEY JUST CORRECTED A REPORTING ERROR, I DON'T KNOW.
BUT IT WOULD BE WORTH LOOKING INTO.
If the plane was brought down right at the Egyptian border, maybe their military saw a plane they weren't expecting.
