This earthquake, described in the following three articles linked, the largest near San Francisco in twelve years, happened at virtually the stroke of midnight Central USA time (29 seconds after 12:00 midnight Daylight Savings Time), and since it happened I wonder if it was some kind of "prophecy" involving cycles before that time and date, and afterwards.

For example, May 14, 2016 is twice seven years AFTER that midnight quake, and twice seven years BEFORE that midnight quake was May 14, 1988...forty years exactly since the official establishment of the State of Israel, May 14, 1948.

Well now, mention of a forty year cycle and twice a mention of a seven year cycle can be found in this Jewish "legend" (ancient Jewish prophecy contained outside of the Bible).

Now, I'm quick to "spiritualize" the Gog & Magog prophecy, and am willing to suggest it describes a process that happens numerous times in the lives of nations and of individuals, something about how "judgment and control" come out of the "North" (authority figures) and threatens a being supposedly vulnerable to attack, but not actually...

I'm also aware of the classic belief that Gog & Magog is somehow Russia and/or China, and describes a military attack on the Modern State of Israel, and according to British-Israelm (the belief that ten lost tribes of Israel are scattered throughout America and Europe including Russia)

Take either position, and it is interesting that a historic quake hit south of San Francisco forty years plus seven years plus seven years after The "Man from Independence" (Truman) was the first world leader to formally recognize the Independence of Israel from Britain, declared May 14, 1948.

The period of "twice seven years" is highlighted at least twice in Genesis: Jacob/Israel worked twice seven years for the hand in marriage of Rachel and Leah, and Pharaoh told Joseph of his dream, interpreted as predicting seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine.

Announced tonight is news that the oldest Jew in the world today is also the world's oldest American, a 113-year-old woman named Goldie Michelson of Worcester Massachusetts.
