Hoo-boy! Did you know the May 18, 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens is probably predicted in the Bible...twice? And an increasing swarm of earthquakes has struck Mt. St. Helens since March, scientists say it is magma re-filling the cores from which the eruption occurred in 1980:

There's the original prophecy in the book of Joel which reads,
"And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke." (Joel 2:30)
Then in Acts 2:19, there's the account of Peter standing up during the Pentecost "explosion" of Saturday night, May 17, 31 A.D. and recalling that prophecy:
"And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke"
Yes, the first Christian Pentecost was most definitely probably Sunday May 18, 31 A.D., (Jewish day began at sunset ending Saturday, May 17, 31 A.D., all dates herein are Gregorian, same as "our" calendar today)
A quick rundown of the chronology of Christ's life, Jesus was probably born Friday evening September 26, 4 B.C. Almost exactly 33.5 years later, he entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey Saturday March 22, 31 A.D., hailed as a King. The next day, he reportedly entered Temple Grounds and staged a political protest against the Moneychangers. That night the reward was issued for his arrest (30 pieces of silver), and two nights later, Passover eve, he was arrested. The crucifixion apparently took place noonish on Wednesday March 26, 31 A.D., Passover Day, and "they hastened to bury him" by sunset that day. Three days and three nights in the night concluded Saturday night, March 29, 31 A.D., and Jesus was resurrected, appearing to several of his followers (and others) beginning on Sunday, March 30, 31 A.D. Acts 1:3: "To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God..." By this account Jesus ascended to heaven in the presence of witnesses on or after Friday, May 9, 2016, as it is written:

9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
Then, the followers of Jesus were directed to await an "explosive" outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, which that year was Sunday, May 18, 31 A.D. (Count seven weeks from the first Sunday after Passover to arrive at any Jewish Passover Date).
And so the "saints" gathered on Saturday Sabbath evening, May 17, and apparently after the sun set, this occurred...
(Please bear with me here in my bible quoting and date-recitation, I am suggesting in this post that the events of May, 2016 reflect the events of May 31 A.D. and I need to provide detailed backgrounders for my believing so.)
From the book of Acts, Chapter 2, here's what happened on Sunday May 18, 31, exactly 1949 years before the eruption of Mt. St. Helens on Sunday May 18, 1980 (Pope John Paul's birthday by the way...he was born May 18, 1920)....
Acts 2:2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? 9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”
14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
I note two other headlines in current news, or three now (breaking news of a wildfire in Southern California) which may tie in with Joel and Peter's prophecy....and the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in 1980 and earthquakes there now...and events which have happened on "prophetic time cycles" both before and after the Day of Pentecost, May 18, 31. A.D.

Anyway, I want to explain the significance of North Korea's threat to unleash "pillars of smoke and fire" if its sovereignty is threatened, NK is basically expressing a primal declaration of self-defense, inherent to every living being....

What's this have to do with the first Pentecost? Well, you tell me, or rather, you can figure it out partly by analyzing the time cycle which separates the dates of both events:
Precisely 684,000 days (1900 times 360 days) separates Saturday night May 17-18, 31 A.D. from Monday night February, 8-9, 1904. You can always check my numbers here:

There was an outpouring of explosive fire and smoke as the Japanese Navy attacked the Russian fleet, and the Russian fleet sought to defend itself.
Something rather similar happened at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941, and sure enough, it is "predicted" in the Bible in conjunction with biblical time cycles.
The prophet Ezekiel foresees a "civil war" and "world war" involving mainly the United States of Egypt (ancient Egypt was 42 usually-but-not-always United Provinces), in a prophecy dated April 9, 570 B.C., here it is: "And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying..."I have given [The King of Babylon] the land of Egypt for his labor which he performed, because they acted for Me," declares the Lord GOD..."
Exactly 917,000 days (131 times 7000 days) after Ezekiel 29:17 was written, is Sunday, December 7, 1941, and nearby verses in Ezekiel describe "civil war" and "Total War", as follows:
30:1 The word of the LORD came again to me saying,
2“Son of man, prophesy and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,
“Wail, ‘Alas for the day!’
3“For the day is near,
Even the day of the LORD is near;
It will be a day of clouds,
A time of doom for the nations.
4“A sword will come upon Egypt,
And anguish will be in Ethiopia;
When the slain fall in Egypt,
They take away her wealth,
And her foundations are torn down...
7“They will be desolate
In the midst of the desolated lands;
And her cities will be
In the midst of the devastated cities.
8“And they will know that I am the LORD,
When I set a fire in Egypt
And all her helpers are broken.

If that "War-day" prophecy preceding the Pearl Harbor attack by precisely 917000 days isn't impressive enough, check this out:
The American Civil War ended with the surrender at Appomattox on Sunday, April 9, 1865, exactly 2434 years after Sunday, April 9, 570 B.C., when the above passage from Ezekiel was apparently written. 2434 years just happens to ALSO be a multiple of 7,000 days, April 9 of 570 BC is separated from April 9 of 1865 AD by exactly 889,000 days (127 times 7000 days).
What's more, the surprise attack in HAVANA HARBOR against the USS Maine took place 12,000 days after April 9, 1865 and precisely 16,000 days before the PEARL HARBOR attack! (as an aside, this makes me wonder when the last time that obvious 1,000-day cycle occurred, and the answer is November 9, 2015 was 27,000 days after the Pearl Harbor Attack...on November 7, 2015, this happened: "Chinese and Taiwanese presidents, Xi Jinping and Ma Ying-jeou, formally meet for the first time." -certainly a more peaceful meeting of historic Asian opponents than the attacks on Port Arthur and Pearl Harbor...

But I digress...kind of...what is indicated by the rumblings of Mt. St. Helens and the time cycles I mentioned is with regard to Asian State relations, to one another, and to the United States and Russia, not to mention the possibility of intense "visitations" by the Holy Spirit upon individuals and upon "the Masses" on or around May 18, 2016.
