There's been so much hype about the impending doom of a solar flare kill shot the last few years, much of it from official sources. I wonder if it is to prepare us unwashed masses to accept an arbitrary false flag power grid shutdown as being due to a "solar flare". There has also been a lot of EMP hype lately, possibly for the same purpose.

In fact, the sun is coming off Sunspot Cycle 25, the mildest solar maximum in a hundred years, and may be entering a decades long period of very small or almost non-existent maxima, as happened in the Dalton Minimum of the early 1800s. (As a side note, this would probably cause a significant drop in global temperatures, much to the consternation of the Global Warming alarmists. That is what happened during the Dalton Minimum. But back to the flare hype issue...)

A period a solar quiescence is hardly the time to expect a solar flare kill-shot. The current flare, an M6.7, is one-tenth the intensity of the largest flare of Cycle 25, an X6.9 on 8/9/2011. In fact, during Cycle 25, from 2011 to 2015, there were 67 flares stronger than this one.

Another thing to keep in mind is that while an EMP might be able to fry your electronics, a solar flare could not, though both could damage the power grid.
