Presumed Consent Organ Removal Policies Can Prompt Phony Car Wrecks, Euthanasia & Worse

It may not be very well known that quite a few countries in Europe, including Russia, have a presumed consent donation system whereby organs are taken from deceased persons unless they have opted out. How to opt out isn't necessarily clearly stated in an easily found, everyday way.

One Russian woman has sued for damages in Russian courts over the treatment of her daughter after her daughter's car wreck. She is now pursuing the matter further.

It should be the other way around - no organs can be removed without the consent of the next of kin and unless the deceased person had 'opted in'. Reasons? With a glut of what already appears to be phony car wrecks, some for insurance scams, it naturally follows that anytime a bigshot operator or surgeon needs to repair and/or replace a patient, the word might go out on the street on the need for 'fresh meat' and the result could be an innocent person getting crashed or simply murdered and 'harvested'. Also a doctor might unscrupulously declare a person dead or brain-dead prematurely in order to get the organs from such patient.
