On May 6, 2008 Vanity Fair wrote an Palfrey’s obituary, basically catering to the Washington D.C. fears that her knowledge could have exposed. Vanity Fair painted her as a troubled woman on the path to suicide.

Police reports told of a notebook containing two suicide notes at the scene.” Not one but two, that ought to silence any questioning.
