Another similarity with XMRV and Morgellons is the Testing that was done by the CDC or in the case of XMRV the NIH. There was an exclusion process that XMRV did prior to testing and was very similar to what occurred with Morgellons and the CDC tests.

For the XMRV tests these are the following that were excluded, persons with
HIV,
Hep B, Hep C,
Treponema Pallidium,
Lyme Disease Spirochete,
anyone with any associated fatigue,
abnormal serum characteristics and
thyroid functions.

Had they excluded all the patients that might have the virus?

So First they come up with the conclusion and then all the testing is based so that they will indeed see only that conclusion, basic BS.
