Dallas Area Murder Rate Soars as Homicide Detectives on Patrol Instead of Working Their Cases

You've probably heard of poor city management, but the latest news about Dallas, TX. area homicide detectives being put on patrol really takes the cake.

As several new murder cases hit the news it has been reported that homicide detectives are out working patrol instead of working their cases. That amounts to a huge stoppage of investigations.

This phenomenon of using investigation officers to go back to patrol represents a dumbing down of police forces and resources, and, it costed at least one New Mexico detective his life when trying to apprehend a dangerous suspect when the detective officer didn't have enough or any back-up. In that case it was allegedly due to budget woes, but the same kind of stuff is going on in Texas, and apparently, in other parts of the U.S.. It's kind of like someone in the back of the room saying, "go round up the usual suspects and don't worry about the real murderers".

The result appears to be that the actual murderers remain at large, free to do more murders. It takes the appearance that someone in charge really doesn't want to allow the public to know who's behind the murders and doesn't want them caught. Hmmmm, and they say the police are now interconnected with foreign police on U.S. soil? Hmmmmm.....and they say the U.S. military is now connected to law enforcement? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......
