Can't verify who wrote the letter.

Can't verify that Snopes is the last word on anything, either.

But Snopes is a great method for concluding on a side Snopes wants.

It's like the MSM.

Everyone knows they lie better than anything else they do.

And the MSM always lies in the direction that fits their agenda.

It's the same with Snopes.

The idea behind Snopes is to utilize an already conditioned populace.

No one else on the web (that I am aware of) does what Snopes does.

What Snopes does is claim they are the last word of the debate, when in reality, they are only Snopes - or a couple from California who discovered a ready made psychological niche, and continue to profit off the niche from 50 different angles.

- Simply because they claim to be the authority, or last word in the debate, the already conditioned folks buy it.

Snopes really doesn't have to know their arse from hole in the ground.

All Snpoes has to do is claim they do.
