Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s campaign on Monday downplayed the redirect of a Bush-related domain that instead navigates to GOP front-runner Donald Trump’s campaign website.

Users who visit JebBush.com are redirected to DonaldJTrump.com, the official campaign site for the billionaire business mogul, through it's not clear who created the redirect. JebBush.com is unaffiliated with Bush’s campaign, which owns the domain for jeb2016.com. When asked about the redirect, a spokeswoman for Bush’s campaign brushed it off. “We are focused on promoting our campaign’s website, jeb2016.com,” she told POLITICO in an email.

Fabulous.com, an Internet domain management company, first purchased the JebBush.com domain in November 1997, though it was most recently updated Oct. 20. (Bush was elected governor of Florida in 1998.)

According to The Daily Caller, which first reported the redirect, Bush has run into trouble with websites named after him in the past. A gay couple that blogs together currently owns JebBushForPresident.com, and JebBushForPresident.net is an anti-Bush site. It recently published a link to Bush’s 3 percent polling in the latest CNN survey, noting in parentheses, “Jeb can’t fix it.”

Trump’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
