Unarmed N. Texas Man Shot to Death by Mesa, Arizona Police at a La Quinta Inn - Safety Bulletin

It seems it could happen to anyone nowadays - a police officer could become nervous or agitated and afraid and open fire on an unarmed person. That is what reportedly happened to a north Texas man this past Monday night. The widow of the victim is still reeling in disbelief.

The victim apparently had pellet guns for his pest control job. Although reports claim people saw someone pointing a rifle out of a window it isn't clear if it was the victim or someone else or if someone merely saw the pellet guns and created a suspicious incident out of it. I have found La Quinta Inns to be one of the nicest, cleanest, affordable lodgings available, but, this sort of thing can happen any place where the public gather.

Several years ago a man at an apartment complex near or approximately in the area of Mesa was complained about by some residents there who must have teamed up their complaints to convince police an apartment resident was a threat. When police came they were so charged up by then they threatened to break down the man's door, so the man armed himself and when they came in the resident shot and killed one of them and was also killed.

Too many people creating hazardous, deadly 911 calls out of mostly nothing. When you are before a fed or cop your life could be taken in an instant. The why would not then be important to you if you are dead.

I have long stated at this forum to have a place to go before dark and go there by dark and stay until sunrise. I stand by that suggestion. That's not a joke - it's deadly serious.

And remember - just because you may not judge others by their race or color does not mean others won't judge you just as soon as they get the chance. How do you know who is minding the local 911 store where you are located?

Generally speaking, the less that persons have to do with government and cops the better off they are.
