What if the rapists are hired mercenaries? You don't act like that if you want to live in a new country. All they are doing is going to backfire, too. There is a possibility if this garbage keeps up, anything obviously Muslim is going to be shot on sight in some areas, including those that have lived there for year and caused no problems.

Such is the way of the world. And this isn't the same, but vaguely related. Remember the Japanese internment camps. Star Trek's Sulu had a run in with those. And George Takai is an awesome person with a killer sense of humour. My flatmate is one of his Farcebook buddies.

I don't know what's real and what's propaganda with the history of Islam. Saladin seems to have invented chivalry. Google him. He didn't want to kill non-combatants. . .women, children. . . And though the religion does NOT work for me, I've known tons of Muslims because my sperm donor is of that religion (Albanian), and they were pretty much like everyone else in most ways. . .but they never got out of the 1950s. I also work with some, and they're nice people.

One more thing. If we didn't bomb the Holy Hell out of the Middle East, not to mention the mess Europe made of the area during the Crusades, would we be having any problems with them now? Not that the Crusades only messed with the Middle East. They killed of some of the best people of the planet with the Albigensian Crusades. The world would be so much better if the Cathars were more prevalent. Kinder, and less crowded.
