The COMEX is primarily a paper market dominated by miners who hedge to protect themselves from lenders in case of a collateral call, large purchasers of gold who want to protect from the downside and speculators who want to just make a profit and never take delivery of gold with its associated delivery and storage cost. The marketers of gold and silver have been promoting this in the hope of getting people to buy precious metals. The COMEX will never go broke or under. Entities that buy huge amounts of gold do not ever use the COMEX. It makes no difference if the ratio of contracts to gold is 1-1, 500-1 or 5000-1 as it is a paper market. It is so sad that so many people have fallen for the lies that these people have been pushing on the net. From the COMEX is going to go broke, to total economic collapse to gold and silver is going to be so scarce that it can't be purchased at any price to well if it wasn't for the price manipulation the price will go to the moon. Total BULLS***! It is true that markets are manipulated short term but it cannot being manipulated over the long term trend. That is fact and the long term trend is down! If you go to any web site that promotes gold and silver and read the comment section, there are literally thousands of people who fell for this nonsense and lost their arse. They are angry! Commodities like oil, gold , silver, etc., are all in deflationary cycle and that cycle is not over and will continue for at least thru 2017. All this nonsense is being promoted by who else, the marketers of gold and silver. They use fear to sucker in the next buyer. We are in a deflationary period for commodities so why would anyone try to get you to buy if the price is going to go down? Something think about!!
