Connecting the dots on this one is very easy. In fact, failure of the military, white hats, and Republic officers to act now will completely condemn any future authority from finding legitimacy in the eyes of the people. That has only one ending.
Subsequently, there are no other moves here. It is a checkmate scenario. Failure to move now will result in no legitimate governing authority assuming power.
