I disagree with most of the ten points that Mr. Cole has put forth, but I do agree with number three. We should not just exclude Syrians, but all immigrants who do not follow the laws already in place.

Number 1, recent studies indicate that 74% of immigrants who have come here in the last ten years are still on welfare of some sort. We cannot afford those deadbeats already here, in addition to several million Americans who refuse to work.

Number 2, immigrants, legal or not, receive benefits far in excess of what American poor people, including veterans, receive, and are given special treatment for Social Security. American workers must work and contribute a specified number of quarters to qualify for benefits. Illegal aliens from Mexico must only prove they worked here for 18 months to receive SS benefits.

Number 3, immigrants now demand changes in our schools, restaurants, customs, and even our laws. They refuse to accept our customs, or learn to speak our language. Those already here have, in most cases, been rude and ungrateful for our kindness.

I would note some exceptions, such as Asians, who generally are hard workers, honest and friendly to Americans. Muslims are the absolute worst, and have spoken out about their intentions to take over America and kill every Christian.

The Mexican La Raza group is almost as bad, claiming our land belongs to Mexico, and their leader, Antonin Cebada, urges Latinos to arm themselves and take America by force. Are any of these people in jail for their threats, as Americans would be? Of course not.

As far as Mr. Cole's University of Michigan, it is obviously one of our institutions of higher ignorance that are so prevalent these days in America.
