There was an announcement yesterday (Friday Jan. 6th), that the typical routine of the Supreme Court Justices is to look over several possible court cases and then vote on whether to take them officially on the docket. However, they would not announce those decisions until the following Monday which falls on Jan. 9th this month.

There was no official word on if the Brunson case was accepted or not. However, there there was speculation that it was accepted and this was reflected in correspondence by an attorney that was familiar with the case.

A lawyer who had emailed me, who was involved in some way with the Raland Brunson case in the U.S. Supreme Court, and he had informed me that he “have heard the Supremes accepted the Brunson case.”
So this lawyer had informed me that the Raland Brunson case had been accepted at the conference today in the U.S. Supreme Court. Hooray!!!! Great for them. Brian Hill also sent a letter to the Supreme Court in support of the Brunson case.
