Be on the alert for actual machete attacks in parts of the U.S. as perpetrators have even attacked people in restaurants with machetes and other weapons. These attacks seem to happen 'out of the blue', so-to-speak.

About a year or so ago there were a series of machete attack robberies in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area which I posted, wherein the robbers had gun(s) and machetes and knives, etc.. The guy with the gun covered the guys with the machete and knife who accosted the victims, robbed them, etc.. This type of machete attack robbery has also been reported in or near Westlake, Ca. lately.

According to the below article at the link a bicycle rider was struck with machete (large jungle utility blade, generally used for cutting vegetation and/or crops, etc.) fracturing his skull, etc., when he was robbed. One might wonder if these machete attackers simply crossed the U.S. border somewhere and decided to rob a few people, grab some fast food and stroll on back over the border with their loot, or, perhaps it was a gang thing of local gangs already in the U.S..

Also, another man was stabbed to death in southern Ca. while awaiting a bus at a bus bench a few days or hours prior to the Westlake incident.

Reminds of the expression or verse, "There, but for the grace of God, go I".
