Intense military mobility is being recorded in Russia as the Russian General Staff has decided to dramatically increase its forces in Ukraine with an additional 150,000 troops.
Preparations for the deployment of aid to Ukraine are already taking place in the Southern Military District.

Russian A / GEETHA uses the decree of V. Putin (document at source) which calls for training 135,000 Russians aged 18 to 27 years. The vast majority of them will be sent to Ukraine along with reserves. An estimated 120-150,000 soldiers.

From Kharkiv to Odessa
Russia's goal is to control all of southeastern Ukraine, from Kharkiv, Donbass, to Nikolaev and Odessa.

Today, for the first time since the start of the war, military targets were mercilessly hit in Odessa. This confirms the information about the Second Phase of the Russian operation.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that rockets fired by the Russian armed forces destroyed today an oil refinery and three fuel storage facilities near Odessa.

According to the ministry, the facility was used by Ukraine to supply troops to Nikolaev.

Britain-USA: The Second Phase of the Russian operation begins
Russia has revised its military strategy to occupy eastern Ukraine by May 9 as Putin wants to demonstrate a huge Victory Day victory over "fascism" in the Victory Day Parade.

"American and British military sources had informed Kyiv that the Second Phase of the Russian Military Plan would begin with a massive attack on Donbass and a simultaneous semi-encirclement of Nikolaev. The Russian Army will attack from the South and East.

At the same time, the Russian Army will gradually establish military-political administrations consisting of Russians. They will no longer rely on current or former Ukrainian officials.

This plan will be implemented in Hersonissos and Zaporizhia and then copied in other areas as the military forces move forward.

Intensive preparations in the Southern Military District
"The Russian army starts Command and Control exercises, which are held every year in April-May after the results of the winter training period.

These exercises are also linked to the preparations for the second phase of the Special Military Operation (SVO) in Ukraine. It is true that, judging by the situation, the troops will continue to operate not only in the east and southeast, but also in the south of this country.

In the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation, control exercises are organized to improve the combat capabilities of new reserves intended for conducting NMD.

In the field of Nikolo-Aleksandrovsky training, some preparations have already been completed by the electronic warfare (EW) units of the 49th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District, stationed in the Stavropol Territory

"The administration has decided to use modern Borisoglebsk-2 and Zhitel cyber warfare interceptors, which have blocked navigation and disabled a virtual enemy unmanned aerial vehicles," the press service said.

The importance of using electronic warfare equipment has already been demonstrated more than once during hostilities in Ukraine. Largely thanks to these means, as understood from official figures, several hundred anti-aircraft missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

Airborne forces will be used
It is likely that at this stage, regular airborne offensive forces (TVDs) will be used more actively to encircle Ukrainian forces in Donbas and southern Ukraine.

Judging by official data, apparently, for this purpose, interdisciplinary exercises were organized in the Southern Military District, which included the use of attack helicopters with motorized units of combined weapons.

"Mi-8AMTSh transport helicopters will be involved in the transport of regular airborne troops and marines. "The safety of the airstrips during the exercises will be ensured by the crews of the Mi-28N, Ka-52 and Mi-35 attack helicopters, " the Southern Military District said in an official statement.

It is noted that more than 150 helicopters participate in such exercises.

What a Russian military reveals
Retired Lt. Gen. Yuri Netkachev, a military expert, says that from the official reports of the Ministry of Defense on exercises in the south of the Russian Federation, one can understand that:

"First of all, Russia, in Donbas, Russia does not rely heavily on the forces withdrawing from Kyiv in the direction of Belarus and then the Russian Federation.

"Secondly, the Russian army reserves formed in the south show that the leadership of the Ministry of Defense is not going to stop or suspend the operation, as one thought after the Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul."
