Thank you for sharing, Hobie. Rappoport's message is sorely needed today.

However, also consider this: Behind the scenes are prayer warriors, even here in Europe, of whom I'm sure are more than we can fathom, myself included. As an 85-year-old woman, I know without question that God does hear our prayers.

About three decades ago after having raised four children in Western Canada, I was led to pray for 2-3 hours a day for all the countries of the world for over a year. It was not long after, my husband died, and God began to connect me with another believer and gave us opportunities to visit the churches of many countries around the world seeking to make a difference. You see that's how God does things. He does answer prayer and is well able to expand our vision to serve Him and reward us even in this life.

We need not feel helpless in the situation we are facing in the world today, as God is well able to show us ways we can change things. He can use us to make a difference no matter what age we are.
