BATTLE FOR WORLD | March 20, 2020: Chinese authorities are reporting that they have just about overcome the coronavirus outbreak. And for the first time since the epidemic started*, no "local infection" cases have been reported in the country, suggesting that all infected people brought COVID-19 from abroad, the Russian newspaper Kommersant writes.

President Xi Jinping in a telephone conversation with President Vladimir Putin, the two leaders reiterated their commitment to global efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic. And Beijing said it was willing to supply medical goods to Russia if needed.

Also, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi underlined in a recent phone call with his counterpart from Russia, Sergey Lavrov, that Beijing was ready to explore the issue of reciprocal assistance by delivering goods to Moscow to say thank you to Russia for its support

China has also reached out to Italy, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands and Iraq, about delivering aid, and promised to provide assistance to Serbia.

(*BattleForWorld: So China was getting hit from the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan and Hubei, and shortly after travelers were coming into China, some infected with the virus, bringing the infection into country. So while China was putting down the outbreak that occurred locally, new infections were coming into the country. Now it makes sense why countries were closing borders and banning travel. More and more as time goes by, this event sounds like it was deliberate.)
