I have to agree with Hobie's observations here as it seems to me Adams jumped on this story and put it out of context to fit it into his own bias of concern about LGBTQ people and even pedophiles seeking to push their lifestyles on impressionable youth. The small local event is likely something that brought on sponsorship from a local Whole Foods that is in a community with a high percentage of LGBTQ people, who would see it as normal to have a drag queen read stories to children since it reflects the culture of their community. As long as the story reader isn't promoting anything lewd I don't see a reason for people to get upset about it, and for Mike Adams to jump on Whole Foods (which is currently part of Amazon) over this just makes him seem overzealous.
