My computer and my backup computer both crashed!!

And my iMac won't accept my password. One that has always worked before!! I don't go on the internet with the iMac. I use it only for writing books... and one is just about finished and hopefully published.

I'm now at our local library to tell you my long sad story of woe.

It all began on a dark and stormy night with a dog howling in the distance. No, that's not right, the howling dog was at my feet and I was sitting at the computer as the sun streamed through the window.

But it was then, when I discovered that my trusty Toshiba was full to the brim and if I were to save anymore pictures or writings on it I needed to dump a lot of photos. Anyone who does eBay has tons of photos. I did that by transferring the photos to external hard drives. But it didn't solve the problem. So I went to my backup computer. I cheap thing that I bought from a local here in Ohio.

I could not sign in with the User ID and Password. So I decided that I would use my iMac. I spent about 4 hours on the phone with an Apple tech. She was able to get it working just fine. We changed the password and I entered a new one.

I was happy because I knew that at least my book is okay.

I then had to go to the hospital. Yes, all of this is happening on top of severe back and leg pain. After the hospital journey, I figured I'd come home and tackle the computers one more time, but the pills and shot that were dispensed put me right to sleep. I woke up about 1 am and decided to try gaining access one more time. I tried 'til 3am and finally went to bed to try to get some needed sleep.

When I woke up about 9am, I tried the computers one more time. None worked... and so the Toshiba is in the local computer repair place and the iMac will have to be drivien to the place near Cleveland that repairs Apple computers.

Fortunately I have an iPhone 6S and can keep up on the latest news from RMN. If it's possible to post from an Apple 6S iPhone, someone will have to tell me how to do it. (hobie is posting this for me.)

The last time I took my Toshiba in to be fixed, he replaced a number of things, including the screen which was broken by so called "friends". The main cost was the computer screen, which was well over $100.00 by itself.

Since i do ebay on the same computer, I asked the fellow to backup the pictures on external hard drives which I have to purchase. I don't even know how much they are. The long and short of this too long message is I need money to get my computer out of the shop and to purchase the external hard drives. And this is only for the Toshiba, I don't have any idea what the iMac is going to cost me.

If you can afford to, please help me out of this mess.
