Most of western ceremonial magic relies on the Pentagram. Here are the four elements--air, earth, fire, and water--plus spirit

Notice there are five points from which the "adept" can start tracing the pentagram. The starting point is the element one wishes to banish, and the next point represents the element one wishes to invoke.

The simplest pentagram ritual begins at the lower left, and moves to the topmost point. What happens here is that one banishes the mundane Earth element, and invokes Spirit. This makes sense, right?

(BTW, I'm not trying to "convert" or lure anyone into this realm. I'm simply illustrating how the Pentagram shows the five parts of the human psyche: Earth is Physicality, Fire(bottom right) is Will/Energy, the upper left is Air/thinking, upper right is Water/emotion, and again the top is Spirit.)

Okay, okay, I was just laying the groundwork. Here comes the message:

Remember all starting points on the Pentagram are the elements we wish to banish, and the point we wish to invoke are the next point.
So when we start from the upper left (Air, the intellect) and trace across to Water (emotion, feeling) we are banishing Thought and invoking Emotion. And vice-versa: when we banish Water (right to left horizontally) we invoke Air: WE CANNOT THINK STRAIGHT WHEN WE'RE CAUGHT IN OUR EMOTIONS, AND WE CANNOT FEEL WHEN WE'RE LOCKED IN DISPASSIONATE RATIONALITY. DON'T BLAME ME, IT'S HOW WE'RE WIRED UP!

Let's go to the most recent Acosta vs Trump episode. What's Acosta doing by invoking Miss Liberty about the caravan? "Give me your tired, your poor..." You got it: invoking emotion. And Trump is being rational. Both men know the caravan is full of nasty young men hiding behind the women and children. And while neither man might know squat about the pentagram, both know how the game works. it's mass psychology at work. Acosta plays

Trump and Trump knows it. He warns Acosta: "Let me run the Country and you run CNN." But Acosta is fully into his a**hole persona, so he persists until Trump shuts him down and calls him out.

And of course almost the entire MSM comes down on Trump.

This is how rationality and feeling fight one another in this war for the American mind.

A final warning: do not wear a Pentagram unless you know how to work it. The Pentagram is real, and it attracts all kinds of creepy-crawly entities.
