Of course there is a Christine Ford on the Stanford Faculty who has co-authored scientific papers, and I suppose she did send some sort of letter to Sen. Feinstein.

But the chatter at 4chan is that the second paragraph of the letter, describing the claims about what happened at the party, was modified by someone other than Ford, based on possible font differences in the rather fuzzy copy that has been released.

The 4chan anons charging that she "doesn't exist" basically are of the opinion that the real Ford will never appear before the committee, and if someone does it will be a crisis actress pretending to be her. I would think any crisis actress would be having second thoughts about testifying under oath, realizing that she would be the one on the hook for perjury.

Fueling this speculation is the fact that Dr. Ford apparently has not made any in-person statement to any media about matter this since it came out, and her online presence has been largely scrubbed, and only a few poor quality pictures of her have surfaced.

I wonder if she now regrets she sent the original letter.
