I was told years ago by an official in the CIA that the US had secretly placed a laser system in space that would knock out any nuclear missiles heading to the US. I was never able to confirm that rumor so I had to put it on the shelf and not repeat it as probably or factual. A person cannot assume that our government or any aliens would defend us from a nuclear war. That would be a grave error to make that assumption. Hitting a missile with a missile is not an exact science. It is like hitting a bullet with a bullet. Don't bet your life on the big brother globalist being able to always protect us from an enemy attack. People also need to understand that there are several ways to deliver a nuclear bomb rather than by missiles. There are also plenty of options with other weapons of mass destruction(WMDs. The point we need to focus on is preventing radical, extremist nations or groups from producing and delivering any WMDs against us. That is why stopping North Korea is so important. The longer we wait, the more bombs, chemical and biological weapons they make that can also be sold to terrorists. The day may come when the US could be attacked by sources that no one can identify. In fact, we are making so many enemies they will have to take a number to attack us.
