Mom: Airline wouldn't allow medical bag on flight

Dear RM Agents and Readers,

I get this at a very personal level. Albeit, I was allowed to fly; I have to carry around 30 different vitamins, minerals and asthma related drugs, some prescriptions when I fly. I often become very ill and it takes a great deal out of me to fly anywhere and the added stress of do I have to buy all new stuff when I get there?

I was given a bad time because I opted out of their scan machines for my personal body; was made an example of. Albeit, I'm very small so that plays into things as well. By the time I got on the plane I broke down in tears, quietly but ended up speaking with a kind stewardess.

They did go through my luggage and the complete inside of the luggage which looked relatively new when I left was (plastic broken and crushed inside). I did everything they told me as per law. This was several years ago.
