Yesterday morning, I watched President Trump's amazing impromptu encounter with the media. Vintage Trump! But during the first part of the interview he told Fox's Steve Ducey that when North Korea's Kim Jung On spoke "his people sit up at attention" and then added "I want my people to do the same." Although I immediately recognized that Trump was joking, I said "Uh oh, there's the headline for CNN".

And surely enough, when Trump addressed the gaggle of reporters it was a member of CNN who tried to make Trump's comment an issue. Trump, grinning and waving his hand dismissively" immediately said "It was a joke" and he added that the reporter did not understand sarcasm. Then Trump asked what media outlet the reporter was with. BINGO!

Although some mainstream media recognized and reported that Trump was joking (for example, MSNBC's headline was "Trump jokes he wants his 'people' to 'sit up at attention' when he speaks, like North Koreans do with Kim Jong Un"). CNN and other Trump-hating media ran with the fake news that Trump wanted to have people sit up at attention when he spoke, implying that Trump wanted to be a dictator just like Kim Jong Un. And wouldn't you know it, the usual Trump-haters here at FB followed right along.

Trump-haters, look inside your dark hearts and ask yourself "Would you rather see America and the world fail than see Trump succeed? And go a step further and be honest with yourselves: would you rather see a confrontation with North Korea that killed tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or maybe even millions - including Americans - or Donald Trump achieve a historic breakthrough that resulted in peace and no nuclear weapons in North Korea and quite possibly a Nobel Prize for Trump.

Though you won't dare admit it publicly, I think I know what the answer is in too many instances. If your truthful answer to yourself is as dark as I suspect, then you really need to take a Trump Derangement Syndrome reality check before you let it permanently warp your character.
