When a star, planet, or moon is born, it sticks with its physical primary parent, not spinning on its axis, but moving in its orbit/revolution at the same rate as its physical parent. As it evolves, its orbit moving further away from its physical parent, its revolution slows, and its axial spin increases. You can see this common trait in the way a human child clings to its mother or fathers leg.
