Better put on your hip waders folks, because the bullcrap is getting awfully deep and it will probasbly get even deepers as the Democrats and the left wing media lapdogs become more and more desperate to try to stop the political tsunami that is about to engulf Washington as well as cover up the good news about what Trump is doing for our country.
First it was the breathless reports about Sessions and other high ranking members of the Trump administration being interviewed by the Mueller witch hunt team, which we were assured meant that the noose was closing in on Trump. The interviews were true, but the news was fake beause the interviews were totally expected and had been volunteered by those who gave them. It would have been news if the interviews had not taken place.
Next came the "bombshell" report two days ago by the NY Times, conveniently timed during Trump's triumphant Davos meeting appearance, just before his State of the Union address and right before the approaching tsunami, that Trump had ordered head witch hunter Robert Mueller fired but backed down after his White House counsel threatened to resign. The hysteria of the media reached heights akin to the report that Trump had ordered Michael Flynn to contact Russia during the Presidential campaign. Proof positive of obstruction cried the talking heads. Impreachment is assured! Except for one small item - the news was fake, just like the now-infamous false report by reporter Brian Ross.
The truth is that this was nothing but a blatant false report by the NY Slimes where they dug up an old story from eight months ago about Trump considering firing Mueller. Not ordering, considering. The White House counsel, Don McGahn, never threatened to resign. He merely told Trump that he (Trump) would not likely be able to weather the political storm that would ensue if he should fire Comey - although such an order would have been entirely appropriate. After all, as Trump knew, there had been no collusion, Mueller was the BFF of fired FBI director James Comey (which should have disqualified Mueller). The investigation was being staffed by Trump-haters and it was becoming increasingly obvious that the investigation was a sham witch hunt whose purpose was to get revenge for Comey and bring Trump down.
Who knows what is coming next? These truly are desperate times for the left. It has been reported that the Houose Intel Committee memo which will rock Washington will likely be released next week, possibly as early as the day of Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday. Though I am not sure how earth shattering it will prove to be, you have to know it is going to be bad. Why else did Rod Rosenstein go to Paul Ryan and beg him not to release the memo? As it turns out, Rosenstein, who is among those who should be fired if not jailed, is himself named in the memo.
Why else did the DOJ send a letter to the Intel Committee trying to block release of the memo - so that they and the FBI could have time to investigate its findings and take appropriate actions? Now there is a hoot for you! They want to investigate themselves when they are themselves the subject of the investigation.
Why did lying political hack and ranking minority Intel Committee member Adam Schiff aregue against releasing the memo he and most other Democrats have not even read? Likely for the same reason that he is hastily constructing his own counter memo - to block he truth about the corruption and collusion of the DOJ and FBI and expose the obscene truth that Russian collusion has been a fake, manufactured issue from day one designed to interfere with a political election and then take down and overthrow a sitting President based on a pack of lies funded by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.
When it comes to Trump's State of the Union address, he will have much to crow about and much of it may come as news to those who get their news from the fake news media. Just like his election against all odds, his accomplishments against all odds in his first year in office have been remarkable - and far too numerous to list here. But let's just look briefly at the economic news, which is becoming increasingly obvious to more and more people. After all, it has accurately been said time and again that voters tend to vote with their pocketbooks - and those pocketbooks are growing fatter by the day.
Ninety-nine new record highs in the stock market since Trump was elected and $8.4 Trillion in value added to the stock market. Had a look at your 401K retirement fund lately? Or perhaps yor kids college fund? Over 250 companies have given out bonuses, wage increases and/or increased benefits to millions of employees, with an average of 10 more companies joining in every day - and that does not count the small local businesses that are doing the same thing. About 90 percent of American workers will be seeing larger paychecks due to tax cuts beginning next month - putting the lie to Democrats claims about tax increases that has had a majority of voters falsely believing their taxes were going up.
In response, the Democrats who unanimously voted against the tax cus, have sniffed that workers are receiving mere "crumbs", and thus revealing just how out of touch (and dishonest) the Democrats are. I don't know about the millionaire donor class "let them eat cake" Dems like Nancy Pelosi and Debbie Wasserman-Schultzm but a thousand dollars buys a lot of crumbs in most households. It buys enough groceries for month for a family of four. Makes a couple of car payments. Buys all kinds of things for us lesser peons. Crumbs indeed.
The Democrat response to the State of the Union address will be given by a new face from an old political family - Rep. Joe Kennedy III (D-MA). Hopefully, when it comes to championing women he will not follow in the footsteps of his womanizing great uncles John, RFK and Teddy! Or the footsteps of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
But wait - wasn't Hillary the self-proclaimed champion of women? Yes, so long as you weren't a woman victimized by her Predator in Chief husband Bill. Or an abused woman from an Arab country that donated hundreds of millions to the Clinton pay for play slush fund foundation. Or a female staffer who was paid less than their male counterparts. Or, as we just learned this week, a female campaign staffer who was abused by another member of Hillary's campaign, whom Hillary re-assigned after she left the abuser in place over the objections of her campaign chairman and others.
You can't make this stuff up, I tell you! Well, except for Russian collusion, obstruction, and fake news reports like you see in the NY Times.
Time is not on the Democrats side. The tsunami approaches and every day their lies about collusion, obstruction and the tax cuts are being exposed more and more. Even so, they have no message of program to offer, they continue to move ever further left, and they seem intent on continuing their tried and failed program of total obstruction and trying to destroy Trump.
Look at their reaction after Trump's new proposal on DACA that gives them even more that they asked for. Racist? Make America white again? Puhleeze!
To paraphrase an old saying, "If you can't win them over with the truth, try to fool them with bullcrap" - and the way things are going, the bullcrap is liable to get very deep indeed.
