I pray everyone enjoyed a nice “Cyber Monday” and will kindly donate to their favorite cause on this “Giving Tuesday.” You know, here in America we’re so blessed with our individual freedoms and liberties to live our lives. We’re free to go as we please without having to request a “bye or leave” from anyone. We’re truly able to pursue our happiness — well, we pray that continues, but there are those who wish to define that as they see it. But, with all these blessings, it doesn’t mean there’s no evil, but thanks be to God, there are still good men and women who will not allow evil to triumph, prevail and obstruct our liberties.

As reported by KCTV5.com, “An off-duty police officer shot and killed a man who brandished a gun inside a Costco Wholesale store in a Kansas City suburb on Sunday. Police got a call at about 11:09 a.m. about a man who was brandishing a firearm at the store. Witnesses said that the man was yelling and pointing a gun. When officers arrived, they found that the man had been shot by someone inside the store and he was pronounced dead. They then learned that an off-duty police officer, who was shopping there, engaged the man inside the store and fatally shot him.

On Sunday evening, Kansas City, KS police confirmed it was one of their officers who shot the man. No one else was hurt. Police said at this time, they could not describe the suspect. However, they said they have a preliminary identification. Witnesses told KCTV5 he was a tall, older man. Police said they are not looking for any other suspects. “I don’t know what his intent was, but before anything really bad could happen, he was stopped,” said Captain Wade Borchers with the Lenexa Police Department.”

Big time, special hat tip to the off-duty officer who was on the scene; calm, and used his training and skills to eliminate this threat. Now, this is something that happens often in the United States, but the progressive socialist left doesn’t want us to know.
