Lately there have been numerous articles and videos discussing "incitement" speech.

Many have said that what the mainstream media and famous people have been saying and doing is inciting people to violence.

I would rather have freedom to speak anything or express anything, than head down the path that so many people have been endorsing. That being limitation of "incitement" speech.

Yes, I am ok with "incitement" speech.

Why? Because to limit speech in any way leads to someone being given the authority to determine what is classified as incitement. That is more government power. Not good.

Do I want someone to provoke or inspire others to pummel me into a bloody mess? No I don't. Do I want someone to provoke or inspire others to shoot me? No I don't.

You can stand on the street corner, and yell out for someone to kill me, over and over 24/7, and I'll take notice, and make sure I am armed.

What is being glossed over, is that each individual human being is responsible for their own actions.

The ignorant immature psycho can be inspired by the mainstream media or famous people in many ways. But it is the individual that ultimately makes the choice of what to align their will with.

In the same way that politicians and government employees, or contractors, can lie, misquote, or misrepresent facts and various other forms of information, to motivate law enforcement or military personnel to blow the shit out of infrastructure and kill people, in the name of maintaining law and order, or spreading democracy, it is still an individual choice for each human being involved, as to whether or not to go along with that.

Who is going to draw the line, and enforce the limitation of what speech is acceptable? Government? The Government is the biggest perpetrator of "incitement". Wars? Hello. You know what the next biggest perpetrator is? Religion.

Drugs? Mass shooters? You can say someone was on certain pharmaceuticals, but even when high or drunk off your ass, you still make the choice of how you want to act.

Emotions? Yes, you are still responsible for yourself.

Ignorance? Yes, you are still responsible for yourself.

If you want to end this insanity, then educate. Inspire with counter ideas and information. Once people start learning, there is no going back to a condition that results in aligning your will in whatever direction the societal wind blows.

These videos are not calling for limitation of speech, they just reminded me of the lack of recognition, that it is an individual's responsibility, to choose what to act on.
