Let me explain:

I lost my job. So what? I’ll get another. And if not, I’ll live outdoors. And if I die, I die. Big deal. But up until I retired, I got other jobs, and at 69 I’m not dead from here yet. I’ve lost relatives, houses, cars, businesses, and been without a dime. Big deal. NOT! I’ll either make it through life with stuff, or I won’t. Doesn’t matter. I cannot do nothing, so I always do something, and it works to whatever degree it works. It’s an attitude thingee, TOTALLY BASED ON WHAT I KNOW.

“I’m having trouble with my boss. HELP!”

“So quit!”

“I can’t. I have a wife and kids and a mortgage and car payments and kids in college and I like burritos.”

“Then don’t quit!”

“But I’m unhappy.”

“So stop it. Stop being unhappy.”

“How do I do that?”

“You can’t control everything ‘out there’ but you CAN control everything ‘in here” (as I point to a spot between his ears). Quit having thoughts that make you unhappy. Accept what is or get the hell out.”

I walk around Walmart and see children, fat people, skinny people, people dressed in various garbs. I watch them. They are intent. They grimace, frown, smile, joke and laugh and are dead serious about their pursuits. For the moment, they are actually and literally being their avatars.

I am my avatar right now.

My avatar, my mind, my brain, my fingers are working together to type this. I am watching my avatar. I am aware of my brain thinking. I am firmly here right now, while yet aware of the oneness, the onlyness of all that is life.

So with that perspective (that I am consciousness playing me and playing others and playing life) when someone comes to me and asks, “Why is there evil? How can I be happy? My boss sucks! Help!” I know immediately they most likely are unaware of who or what they are. They think they are Ed, Mary, Jane and John Doe (and they really do have problems).

When I talk to a group (which I do not do anymore) I know they are going to ask questions based on their understanding....mostly about their avatar’s problems. So I laugh a lot. Not at them. I laugh at consciousness itself, the game it is playing, the game I know I am playing in the game it is playing. It’s all play, but dead serious for the avatars asking questions.

I give answers according to logic and wisdom that works in this world, but the answers are anything but logic and wisdom beyond this “mortal” world. But the answers work here as long as people work them. Most people do not like some of the answers. They think it isn’t human to think the way I present those answer. Many think they can’t do it, that It’s beyond human capacity, but it’s not.

I could give the answer that takes away every problem immediately, and I have, but if they are not ready for such knowledge, they reject it out of hand immediately and shut their minds. Their avatar clock hasn’t run out yet.

What is that one answer that doesn’t work on human avatars very often until their alarm bell rings: YOU CAN’T CONTROL OUT THERE TO BE PLEASANT, BUT YOU CAN CONTROL BETWEEN YOUR EARS TO BE PLEASANT.

Let’s say someone says, “I’m having trouble with my boss.” I reply, “No you’re not. Your avatar is having trouble with your boss. Why is it having trouble with your boss? Because you haven’t taken control of your avatar because you think you ARE your avatar.”

They are not awake yet. If they were awake, they would have no troubles because when you know you are an actor, a “puppet” in a stage play, a movie, an act, you have no concerns because you know it has an end, that’s just a game you are playing, and, you don’t care when or how it ends.

UNHAPPINESS IS AN INTERNAL PROBLEM, NOT AN EXTERNAL ONE. TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR AVATAR, IT’S THOUGHTS, IT’S EMOTIONS, IT’S ENERGY, and then no matter what happens out there, in there will be no problem. nem
