I'll make this really short.

Remember how awkward you were in high school if you weren't one of the cool ones? Remember, how you were self assured and thought you had a handle on life until you noticed only a small percentage of kids in high school were popular and you weren't any of them? And if you think back, you might remember, I said might remember, how you wanted to be one of the cool crowd.

You can now be shunned by those same people that still have no idea why our world is the way it is. Even if you went on to earn a PhD and are paid a thousand times more in one month than they earned in their lifetime, you'll find them there. In fact, those people have not changed at all in all the intervening years. They still believe their circle revolves around them. They didn't know jack in high school and they still don't know Jack Schitt now. And they still hang out with the same people 10, 20, 40+ years later on FACEBOOK.

And we're supposed to care if we get a "Like" from such people? Really?
