Alan Dulles:
An affable scion of the Northeastern establishment, ( a covert Swiss counter intelligence agent ), committed interventionist in foreign affairs, ( appearing outwardly as ) a fervent disciple of American exceptionalism, Allen Welsh Dulles served as director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 1953 to 1961 when Dulles was fired by JFK over the Bay of Pigs fiasco:
International affairs were the Dulles family business.
Allen’s maternal grandfather, John W. Foster, was secretary of state under Benjamin Harrison.
His uncle, Robert Lansing, held the same office under Woodrow Wilson.
John Foster Dulles, his elder brother, served as secretary of state in the Eisenhower administration, and Allen reputedly wanted the job for himself.
Yet, when Allen ran the CIA and his brother was ensconced as head of State, there was little of the usual friction between the two agencies of government.
The brothers worked together like a well-oiled team.
Critics have argued ever since that the country and the world would have been better off had this not been the case.

Dulles still is affiliated to one more event though.
Lyndon Johnson appointed Dulles to the position (1 of 7) to decide if Kennedy's assassination was a conspiracy or not.
A man fired by Kennedy was part of the commission to prove if there was a conspiracy behind his murder.
They concluded no conspiracy had happened, and relied solely on the FBI report and did no extra investigating.(11)
Later an investigation by the House Select Committee on Assassinations concluded that the JFK assassination was probably the result of a conspiracy.
They also revealed what the CIA called Operation mockingbird.
This was an operation to control media outlets. This was also supervised by Allen Dulles.(12)
