Even if Sony suspends production of the offending film (if that's the real reason), the message is much bigger.

They are being held hostage. Totally.

Who (and what) else has been infiltrated?

Who (or what) else will be held up as the next example, as proof?

I WOULD SUSPECT THAT ANY COUNTRY/COMPANY THAT IS NOT IN ON IT, IS QUAKING IN ITS BOOTS RIGHT NOW (and rightly so) BECAUSE IT SHOWS HOW VULNERABLE WE REALLY ARE.

Sony Hackers Flash Disturbing New Warning on Staffers’ Computers (Exclusive)

EXCERPT:

"Removing Sony Pictures on earth is a very tiny work for our group which is a worldwide organization. And what we have done so far is only a small part of our further plan,” the email said.

The note asks staff to acknowledge the company’s wrongdoing by sending an email to an unspecified address, adding “if you don’t, not only you but your family will be in danger."
