In the Polish city of Zlocieniec, who was part of Germany during World War II, was found a Nazi time capsule dating from 1934, writes The Independent.

The capsule was discovered by archeologist who for years knew that it existed, but could not reach it. Capsule was eighty years ago buried at the site in Ordensburg Krossinsee, which was one of three built educational centers of the National Socialist German Workers Party.

Things are perfectly preserved

The researchers had to find a way to pass through the groundwater, and a thick layer of cement to reach the capsule, bypassing the German mines. Doctor Marcin Peterleitner said the items in the capsule are perfectly preserved, writes Daily Mail.

Materials will be translated and preserved

Once that capsule was opened in it were discovered photographs that include images of Adolf Hitler, a newspaper, two copies of his book Mein Kampf, coins that were in envelopes and promotional materials with information about Falkenburg which is actually a German name for the city of Zlocieniec, EPA reports .

Items are currently in the National Museum in Szczecin, and materials will be translated and preserved before they become publicly available.
