Russian military forces in the districts located along the borders of the Baltic states and Ukraine today were placed on full alert. Along the border troops, from 4 o'clock in the morning are engaged air force, the Northern Fleet, and paratroopers.
Russian defense minister, Sergei Shoigu, said that it was abot the sudden exercises that commanded Vladimir Putin personally. It was reported that the maneuvers will last until the end of this month.
Ukraine even before this news was worried because of the increased presence of Russian army on its borders, and even the Pentagon tried to defuse the situation by issuing a statement claiming that they do not expect any problems.
Analyst at the Portal Defence and Security Igor Tabak - for Index.hr said that he believes there is no reason for excessive concern about Russian activities.
"This is not the first such exercise in recent years. The Russians in recent years are actively working on improving the readiness of their army, and these exercises are often unannounced. This is not pleasant for their neighbors, but so far it has always been about political demonstration," says Tabak.
What is Germany preparing for?
The development of the situation in the east had not good echoe in the rest of Europe. Germany urged citizens to begin to store the basic necessities of life, justifying this by new civil defense plan. The same was done only a day later by the Czech Republic.
New measures have prompted a flood of rumors on the Internet. Some suspect that the German security services expect major terrorist attack that could hit the water distribution system or grid. Another look with suspicion toward the east, wondering what Putin will do.
Igor Tabak has two possible explanations for the new measures of German Government.
"The whole of Europe, and especially Germany, have for years actively disarmed and disbanded all forms of organized preparation for a major crisis situation. These measures could be interpreted as a preparation for war, but it is possible that it is preparation for other extraordinary measures" Igor Tabak thinks. "More and more big floods and other natural disasters, are occurring, and in society is prevalent consumerism, which accounts that the supply systems work flawlessly. In such circumstances, it is good to be prepared, even if you are not in danger of major military conflict."
Erdogan's trump card
Turkey, which has after the failed coup attempt seriously sharpened relations with it's closest ally America, these days got more seriously involved in the Syrian war, which given the number of foreign forces participating in it can no longer be called civil.
Although it seemed that the Turkish-Russian relations are warming, the latest Turkish trip to Syria was not received well in Moscow. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation expressed its "deep concern" because of operations in Syria is not coordinated with Moscow, warning that it could complicate the process of normalization of bilateral cooperation of which at the St. Petersburg presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan reached agreement.
Igor Tabak thinks that Turkey has no military capabilities to create big problems away from it's borders.
"Turkey is the last decade has intensified foreign policy, which has sharpened relations on many sides. Turks have big problems with the Kurdish creation in northern Syria, the Shiite influence on its southern borders, and recently was re-activated the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh," said OBRIS analyst.
However, Tabak thinks that Erdogan has in it's the hands another means of destabilizing Europe.
"Turkey, after decades of negotiations, in hands has the means to strongly pressure the EU. Erdogan controls the way by which most of the refugees from the Middle must go through to come to western countries," says Tabak. "If Europe is were homogeneous, this problem could be easily solved by proportional distribution of refugees among member states, and increased control at the borders. In addition to discord, Europe's problem is uneven response to the origins of the crisis. It is insisted on the failed policies in Syria and partial solutions in Iraq and while so, the situation will not improve. "
In Europe, however, will be no war
It would be wrong to link the issues on Russia's borders, in Germany and the Middle East, says Igor Tabak.
"At this point several crises overlap that resonate in the media, but it is not a single phenomenon. It is not good to connect these threads, it's just not practical," says Tabak, adding that he believes that major conflict in Europe is unlikely.
"Major conflicts cost a lot. While technology progresses, little has changed in the fundamental bases of the conflict - the war still requires a lot of people and equipment. Consideration should be given also that the large European countries are also major manufacturers of weapons, and that are sufficiently financially strong to quickly arm themselves. In addition, there are clauses of solidarity between NATO and the EU that guarantee that any attack on members of these organizations quickly turns into a world war.
All this shows that with the war in Europe would be very difficult to achieve a higher goal. I believe that today Europe is not at particular risk of a major conflict, "concluded security analyst Igor Tabak for Index.hr

But what if the goal is utter chaos.
With the plan called "Ordo ab chao" by illuminati? Tu curb humans down to 500.000.000 as per Georgia guide stones?
And 4th reich.
