Rimac's Concept_One, Tesla P90D and Ferrari LaFerrari were equal only when they stood in the place and waited for the start. However, when the race has started, Concept_One was show how it is superior.

Founder and director of the Rimac Automobiles, Mate Rimac has on the official website his company released a video in which his Concept_One in the race wins Tesla P90D and Ferrari LaFerrari quite convincing.

Rimac and his team for the purpose of racing joined forces with British racing driver Archie Hamilton who came to Croatia to assess how much is Rimac's Concept_One model really fast.

"When we designed Concept_One we did not 'just' wanted to make an electric version of the supercar. The idea has always been to show that the electrical shaft opens up new opportunities that will make a supercars more exciting, better to drive, and finally faster, wrote Rimac on the official website of the company.

In the first race Concept_One smoothly won Tesla P90D, but as Rimac said, that race was not totally 'fair' as the P90D is a family sedan of completely different purpose and price range. 'When Archie (Hamilton) said he would bring in LaFerrari (Ferrari) I was nervous because I did not know what to expect, 'said Rimac.

Concept_One with Hamilton at the wheel won LaFerrari without major problems. When Hamilton sat in LaFerrari result remained the same, although the difference was somewhat smaller. 'Hamilton before entering the Concept_One was quite sure he would win the LaFerrari, however, it come out that the Concept_One was faster, wrote Rimac.

Concept_One in 2.69 seconds accelerated to 100 km/h and a quarter mile passed in 9.92 seconds, which, according Rimac, places it near LaFerrari, Porsche 918 and the McLaren P1.
