Yes, I first heard this when I was about 10 years old. I was at school, and during the lunch hour, the teacher allowed the older girls to turn on the radio to listen to scheduled audio theatre programs. The teacher had to go to the outhouse, and while she was gone, one of the girls changed the dial and brought up some music, that at first was of Elvis Presley singing Tutti Frutti, than after that was Dance With Me Henry.

Anyway, when Dance With Me Henry was playing the older girls started 'dancing' about with each other. All the older boys were outside, but Larry and I were inside, and watched them carry on. One of the girls come rushing in and says, “the teacher is coming”, so another turned the dial back to the audio theatre program, and the girls were sitting at their desk listening when the teacher came back in.
I remember Larry turning to me after, all wide-eyed, saying “Wow, did you see that”. I just looked at him and said, “uuh huh.”---or something like that.

I know what you are thinking. Why was Larry and I inside, instead of outside with the 'big dogs'. Well, you see, Larry and I were bad, and we had to sit and print out 100 times with those primer pencils, “I will not fight on top of the ash pile any more”.

As a matter of fact I do believe this is a photo of the whole crew here, An Image Of An 'Untouched' Memory. The year 1958 is about right.

Watchman, is it not amazing how the forces of the universe works in these mysterious ways? I got to remember that all over again.
