The stock market doesn't operate the same way that it did before the Great Depression or even as recently as the 1960s. Trades are electronically entered and manipulated via computer algorithms to go up or down, courtesy of the Fed, the Treasury, and their various minions. If they wanted Trump to take the helm come November, all they would have to do is crash the markets. On the other hand, a stable or rising market will invariably insure victory for the Democratic presidential candidate.
