: The military version B.A.R. (Browning Automatic Rifle) sees
: action in this film. Incidentally, the B.A.R., chambered in
: 30.06 Springfield caliber, is still a very good bet to have
: on your side when the chips are down. It was, in fact, good
: enough for the infamous Clyde Barrow, is hard hitting, can
: really clear ground and is ballistically stable (accurate)
: out to a thousand yards or more. The superior B.A.R. fires
: from an open-bolt system in order to augment better barrel
: cooling and prevent 'cook-off' of rounds (accidental
: discharge due to barrel heat), a John Browning extra
