Here are three free on line stories with a theme of anarchy.
Anarchy does not mean chaos and violence.

Anarchy simply means no rulers and no slaves.

These three stories lay out their case far better than I could ever explain. The story form lays everything out better than a lecture.

The "Probability Broach" is a mystery murder story where the detective is blown into an alternative dimension where George Washington lost the Whiskey Rebellion and the nation went back to the Articles of Confederation. Most Americans do not realize what a tyrannical document (without the ten added Articles) the Constitution really is. Without the tyranny of a central government, freedom and unrestricted innovation allowed the mining of the Asteroid Belt years before the present day.

"Escape from Terra" is a story about colonizing and mining the Asteroid belt. An Earth side tax Collector goes to the colonies of the Asteroid belt to collect taxes that the Earth thought it was owed. The tax collector has a change of heart when shown how free the people are without government and taxation.

Imagine a colony lost to the Galactic Empire for 600 years. The people returned to a civilized state of anarchy and everyone minded their own business. An Ambassador with the galactic military arrive to reestablish contact and try to forcibly bring this colony back under Imperial control. I will only say that though the peaceful means of the colony it proves impossible. The way shown in the story is also the only way the people of America will be able to throw off the tyranny of the Federal and State governments.
