Thanks - I appreciate the sense of responsible open-mindedness you bring to all this. :)

Poof used to say that the Chinese were "doing the heavy lifting" with regard to changes-for-the-better being worked on for the world we share. And, he said, the Chinese who were involved in that heavy lifting thought of themselves as "heaven's mechanics".

My impression from both public and private writings by Poof is that a 400-year old European trust is the earthly initiator of these changes-for-the-better. The Chinese Dragon (whoever that term actually describes) joined forces and fortunes with that trust; and so has an additional group whose identity remains obscure to me. That means that what we can see the Chinese - that is, the Dragon, not the "red" Chinese political body - doing is actually indication of the three groups, working together.

January 15, 2012, Poof reported that the two-year process of foreclosure on the Fed was completed. If true, it should mean that the Fed structure and facilities today are "under new management". And, if true, I have to wonder what the current story of the Fed's turning down an offer by the Chinese actually denotes. I have no opinion on that, so far. But it would seem the Dragon is who did that foreclosing, having loaned the wealth initially with which the Fed was created and got its start. Perhaps the offer of a 13% discount on gold was made not to the institution of the Fed but to its previous shareholders, as a way for them to have some wealth remaining when the FRNs abruptly have no value...? Dunno.

I understand the intended move is to metals-based (rather than gold-backed) currencies, meaning that a currency's relative value in the world's trading will be based on a combination of its holdings of precious metals, its resources, and its commodities, etc. My understanding is that vast quantities of gold were moved to five key locations around the globe several years ago, to support the new currencies. As you've indicated, as soon as one major currency becomes metals-based, the fiat game is over; all currencies will need to become metals-based or at least pegged to a currency that is.

As for the "cornered rats" as you've called them, the always rude Gnu-Whirled Odor crew, I expect that not only their resources but their active numbers have diminished at this point, making the remaining ones less able to pull off whatever tricks and disruptions they might have in mind. Most rumors at this point say the good guys have deliberately delayed a Global Currency Reset until they could feel sure the bad guys would not be able to either halt it or take undue advantage of it for themselves. If the rumor about a metals-based Yuan as of this coming Tuesday is correct, perhaps we've come to that moment when the GCR can be safely begun. (?)
