For free energy experimenters, think of the unit in the link as an eight feet long 4" diameter pipe, half full (maybe a little less) of water, closed on both ends. Suspend it at mid point and push one end down. The water will rush to the lower end. When it hits the end, it is easy to lift that end up and the water will rush to the other end of the pipe. If it is timed properly, it will keep on sloshing back and forth as long as there is a little input at both ends when the water hits.

Take this same principle and transplant it into "perma/electro/magnetism".
